2. Punjab Engineering College University of Technology (PECUT)
PECUT was settled in 1921 and is among the top pioneer Colleges located in Punjab. Earlier, it was an institute. But in 2003, it became a University by MHRD notification and renamed itself as PEC University of Technology in the year 2009.
The college offers 8 UG B. Tech & 14 PG M. Tech Programs, and after becoming the University, it has started a Ph.D. Programs as well. They offer Ph.D. programs in various fields like engineering, science, management, humanities, & social sciences.
